Mathom House Books, Inc. began in 2008 when it purchased Books Etc in San Clemente. Since then, we have converted the store from a general used book store to a store filled with both used and new books from all subjects and genres. Our goal has always been to have the book you want when you want it (or at least in a reasonable time frame!)

Can't decide what you want or can't figure out for what you are searching? Put our resident book experts to the test! Bill, the owner, knows plenty about everything and will be glad to guide you through the mountains of authors in fiction, including Mysteries, Romance, and Literature. Tommy, the man behind the machine, is our resident Teen book expert. Not only will he help you find a great book, he's read a great deal of them as well, and can discuss them with you when you're done. Chuck, our debonair right hand man, knows all there is about Sci-Fi and Fantasy. When he's not reading Science Fiction, he's reading Fantasy, and when he's not reading Fantasy, he's reading Science Fiction. Tell us who you like or what you feel like reading, and we will be glad to put a book in your hands.
